Anthroposophy
what we understand by this
how we work with it
First and foremost anthroposophy means a modern, undogmatic opportunity to consciously reflect on all kinds of world views. It offers helpful instruments with which to: school ones own observational strengths and sensibilities, learn to implement ideas, and strengthen the will. It trains the capacity to judge soundly and develops the thinking into an organ capable of complex and living interconnectedness. It is for each individual seminarist to decide if they wish to meet the main features and fundamental ideas of anthroposophy, or if they wish to begin a deeper study.
Precisely in the present social crisis it is apparent that many initiatives, born out of anthroposophy, working in the fields of education, agriculture, medicine, art and most recently, finance and economy, are being taken seriously as interesting, fruitful and true. If the present day one-sided materialism could be complemented in a modern spiritual manner, then we are convinced that the fundamental ideas of anthroposophy – handled independently – could be used to renew all areas of life. We are not concerned here with reproducing the already developed ideas of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy, but to implement working methods so that independent knowledge can be achieved that can be applied in the world.

"I came here because I wanted to get to know anthroposophy."
