"I wanted to discover anthropsophy and
learn German."

The fees are €2,040 per term. These include seminar fees, accommodation, washing facilities, plus breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday. For the two field trips, €280 extra per trip is required. Evening meals and weekend meals are not included so we recommend between €100-150 a month pocket money for personal purposes. For those students who continue to live at the Seminar during the term holidays a further €25 is required.
We are happy to advise about the possibilities of financing the course. If required interest free loans are possible, after the third term depending on the availability of funds. For those without a personal insurance the Seminar can organise a personal liability insurance, as well as a health insurance for those students from other countries.
A valid health- and liability insurance is required. It is possible to take out an insurance on arrival. (health insurance 60 Euro per month, liability insurance 60 Euro per year. For those students requiring a visa there is a further 50 Euros for a residence permit and if the visa needs extending even further costs arise.
As you can see the Youth Seminar is not cheap but it is very literally high „value for money“ The Fees paid by the students cover roughly half of the real costs. In principle you pay for board and lodging the equivalent of what is normally needed for living in Stuttgart. The staff wages and the administrative costs are covered by donations.
